Hi,
for the last few months many of my tv sows are going Erroneous during down load and then when you next start up eMule they are on permanent hashing. does anyone know how to fix this?

Defragment and error check your hard drive.
If that doesn't help try clearing out your eMule temp folder and re-adding all the downloads.
If that's no use your hard drive may be dieing and you may have to think about replacing it.

Correct.
In some cases, you might even end up with an extra storage space - after a full reformat - for a few months, which could provide some breathing time, especially if this HDD used to host the OS partition
