1. You are downloading ONLY ONE episode of a given series, and it has no complete source.
Here is what a file with no complete source looks like on eMule:
- the missing chunks are in red
- ALL the people on the file have the mention "no needed parts"
- There is NO people with the mention of "asked for another file" - indicating that you are downloading another file from this person

To be clear:
If you download 5 files at the same time, and there are very few complete sources (for example, only 3), well, for sure you will not see complete sources on each file, since you can be in a source's queue for only one file, at any given time.
All you need is patience, and only one episode in download at a time, so that all available complete sources will be in queue for that unique episode, thereby increasing your chances of completing the file.
2. You stopped downloading the file, and then re-started the download. Sometimes, resetting the download in this manner can help reconnecting to sources on the network.
3. You are connected on the KAD network and on a ed2k server, which makes connecting to sources more efficient. Your KAD network has a decent number of connections (500 to 700+), and you have a high ID on the ed2k network:

If you have a low ID or very few contacts in your KAD window, please check your Internet connection, your router configuration, restart eMule, connect to a different ed2k server... There can be many reasons for this type of problem which can slow down your downloads and reduce your download efficiency and capacity to connect to sources quite substantially.
4. you have been trying to download the files for a good while: you haven't simply started the download 5 minutes ago and noticed there were no complete source on it. Sometimes, it can take up to 30 minutes to connect to a source, or the source(s) have simply shut down eMule for a while (mostly during the night) and will reconnect later on during the day.

If you have done these preliminary checks, and still find no complete source connecting to your file, then you can make a request for reseed for the given episode(s).
