Rebranding

As you have noticed we are changing the name and style of our project. Our recent marketing surveys have shown that 8 of 10 consumers prefer more uplifting color schemes such as pink and purple. Also our research has shown that people prefer project names that rhyme. So we have come to the conclusion to change the project's name to Princess Pink's Palace Of Links as well as change our color scheme to a more user friendly pink and purple. You will also notice subtle changes to site images such as ratings and new icons. Within the next week expect the forum and domains to change to match our new style.

I agree SL, we must adapt to new standards of marketing.
Color is very aggressive, maybe the name could also be Castle Pink's Palace of links

I think this rebranding it's for little girls (5 -8 years old....).. and the new name...ah...it's very bad....sorry but I hates name and new colors...I would like the old version....

It was a survey sent out to random members of the mainpage and here on the forum. Users were given an option to take part in a survey. If they agreed to take part they were redirected to our survey. The largest demographic of users to respond were the 18-35 males.

The old version is better...grey/black and white write are better for eyes

I really have to agree with you. The bright colors hurt the eyes and now looks like a website for kids. PLEASE bring back the black and gray or at least change the colors to something less hard on the eyes.

The color scheme is too loud!!!
if you could only usse more pink, wouldnt hurt the sight,
honestly, it hurt the vision and you cannot stare at it for long as you could with the other color pallette...
Reconsider to diminish the tone of the colors please..
Or, are you willing to make the users go away? do you intend to do so?

They say a change is as good as a holiday... in my view I'm enjoying the start of this holiday. I welcome the change... a little bright, certainly surprising, in ya face, however it nice to see the effort TVU gang have again presented us with 'A SPECIAL MOMENT IN TIME’.... NICE!!!

If this was intended to be an April Fool’s Joke - Well Done. If its intent is to be like this until the end of the Easter festive break – Again Very Well Done. If it is to become a permanent fixture... hummm, I’m not so keen.

I welcome the change its not always about the look of things to come it’s about the purpose and pleasure it brings, and in my view while it has caught many of us off guard, I for one appreciate the effort you provide us by stimulating one of our five senses (sight) and not merely becoming a boring and mundane website.
