Did anyone have trouble downloading files when the files are downloading it stops right away? Did anyone else have trouble that you waited for hours to get the files downloaded again because there is a client open, but it is not downloading?

My files are uploading, but it is not downloading. I left the computer on for a week and it has not finished downloading one of my files. I had 16 files trying to download only 9 files have finished downloading. Seven hours later, it reads 0.00 on the downloading meter.

Does anyone know an e-mule program where downloading is faster???????
Some chatted with me the other day and it was PRO ULTRA3 v0.48a.
Someone should report it that the clients are connected, but the files are not downloading.

I have been using it for two weeks and one of files has not finished downloading since last Saturday morning.

First off never use a client that spams users to download and use it....which is possibly what happened when you say someone chatted with you. plus Pro AND Ultra in the name makes me instantly hate it....when dealing with mule mods stay towards the big ones like MorphXT, ScarAngel and MagicAngel (Surely someone will chime in with other big mods I've left out) but those three are the best in my opinion.

Second, ALEX already linked you :P

Thanks, I looked at different websites and this person had the same problem as I did. Some of the answers that I am looking for did not answer the question. I am downloading the same program on two different computers, the laptop and the computer. The computer is running right now, the laptop does not.

Last week, my highest downloading speed is 25k and I don't know how it did that. I guess I have good clients and sources. This week the downloading speed was 10k, 2k,8k. Yes, I have already changed the settings. I guess I have to be patient throughout the whole night until all the files are finished downloading.

I was downloading Bosom Buddies, it was a 1980s show. I have watched this show since I was a child. The only thing I remembered when I was a child was two men dressed up as women and I did not know why at that time until I read the summary of the series.

There are some clients online connecting to eMule, but the downloading goes on and off.

I agree with you, I don't think I like the Pro and Ultra anymore, that person that chatted with me thinks that it is faster than 0.48a. I just don't like the setting Pro and Ultra has.

Yeah, downloads come in and out....it all depends on the file, seeds, their queues and your credit ranking. eD2K/KAD are not networks to stare at....it's best just to start off a few downloads and just let it work and check in on it occasionally. The more popular a file is, the faster you'll get it....but sometimes for the rare-er stuff you could be in for a long wait.

Just make sure you are configged/connected correctly and keep using it....it will get better :)

I have 12 downloads all Bosom Buddies episodes. Two of them are 0.00 and the others are between 25.00 MB to 155.00 MB.

One file is moving right now and the others are not. Do you think it my setting the problem or not enough sources?

This is my first time using it and I don't really play with it.

Try to download a couple of episodes at a time, not all at once,
and keep the rest paused/stopped.

Download will go faster this way.

Set up in: Options-> Files-> Start next paused file when a file completes
This way it will automatically start downloading a new episode
every time one of the others has finished downloading.

And don't stare... eMule is all about patience :P

Hello,

Talking/writing about speed, I'd like to know why this site does only want to put emule links, because there are others ways to share much quicker such as torrents, free web hosting files sites ?

It's a question, not a provocation !

Best regards.

What do you mean "don't stare"? I read the directions, I am thinking DON'T TOUCH/DON'T DISTURB THE MULE. How???? Sometimes I check it to see if any of the files are downloading. I am also worried if the files are broken and not running. The only way I leave it alone if it is in the middle of the night when I go to sleep.

TVU used to have a BT tracker, but it had stability issues last I knew about it. Other sites do torrents better anyway and have been around longer so I, personally, see little point currently.

As for direct download it's a legality issue which we don't want to touch. Listing ed2k links is easy because absolutely no part of the file is on the server.

There are ideas of using "OFFsystem" or whatever it's called if it ever catches on (which I doubt it will), but if it does we may add links for that.

Thank you, but my files that I am downloading turned out to be a clap on/clap off.
It is very slow, like there is not any power or electricity.
