As it seems, there has been some confusion on how, after the demise of TRW, the database was salvaged and again released as TFW.

The copy is of static HTML files, representative of the code produced by the PHP modules on the original site. The copy is not directly navigable and links point to the original base and not to the copied HTML files themselves. Start with “letter=#” files which are the “letter” groupings of the series and which point to the individual series (csid=#). These in turn point to the Releases (“rid=#”) and in turn to the pages hosting the ED2K link details (lid=#). This copy of HTML files is not for the average use, but more for power user.This was a 16MB file containing 91.028 HTML files. Those files contained the Series, Seasons and ed2k links, formerly found on TRW.
