Getting Started
Login to your staff account and browse to "Unverified Shows".
A page will load with all the submissions waiting to be processed. ALWAYS start with the TOP one, don't skip around the list because "I like <show>".
4 different links could be visible to the right of the show title. "Edit", "Delete", "Verify", "Purge" (Purge and verify will only appear if it's a NEW show otherwise purge will just be "Delete") [The buttons will be explained more later].
Click the show name and you'll see the season overview page. The release with the unverified links will be highlighted with a red "Unverified Eps" notation.

If a show is in a language you can't understand and you cannot find an episode list to verify the names LEAVE THE FILES unless you're very sure you can handle them. To try and find a "foreign" episode list try and find one of the foreign names using ed2k and put it in Google along with the foreign show name. If that doesn't work leave it.

If you can understand the language or you found an episode list click the "Verify/Edit: [Unverified Eps]" link.

Once on that page you'll get all the information for the files that were submitted (title, number, type, ripper, ed2k link, AICH (h=) hash and who submitted them).
The fields that MUST have information in are the title, and ed2k link - the rest are optional but TRY to find them out using your client and "status" links.

Also treat every submission like they are submitted wrong....DOUBLE CHECK ALL SUBMITTED INFORMATION!

Adding files to your client and checking sources
This is probably the easiest step.....just simply download the file as you would any other link on TVU. Don't worry about skewing the download stats.....the "Clicks" number now gets reset to 0 when verified.

For well spread/popular files you shouldn't need to wait more than 5mins for the sources. In extreme situations for rarer things it may take up to an hour. Usually only 20mins is enough though.

Verifying the file information
Treat ALL submitted information like it's wrong....by this I mean double check to make sure the submitter isn't stupid or lazy. People submit eps with wrong or missing tags all the time....it is our job as verifiers to fix and or find this information.

To check the file is real look at the "alternate filenames" in your client, either by 2xclicking for eDonkey or by opening the file information box in eMule.

If the file was submitted as "DVD" but there are no filenames with "DVD" in them check amazon to check if the DVD was released. If the DVD has not been released you can either make sure they're TV rips or email the submitter and ask what source the files came from. If you or they cannot be sure DO NOT accept the links.

If something like "pr0n hot sexxx milf.avi" is in there it's quite probably fake. You can also check NFOHump, Dupecheck Project or SceneSource to see if a file has been released and the information is correct.

Whilst looking at alternate filenames check for any information that was missing from the edit page like ripper, or episode type (PDTV, HDTV, HR-HDTV, PD-HDTV, SatRip, DSRiP, DVB are for TV releases - obviously DVD will not have this. Both TV and DVD can have PROPER, REPACK or FIXED though). A lot of people who submit miss this. Also, try and make sure you get the right case for rippers (i.e. LOL, XOR, SFM, RiVER, etc.)
As a side note to the episode type (in reference to PROPER, REPACK or FIXED), when you verify one of these, please make sure you remove the old link that is more than likely broken due to the newer file. More information about the specifics of all used TVU tags please check our Glossary and our Episode Type Guide.

If you need to replace all the ripper information due to the wrong fields select the files and go to the "Replace all:" drop down and select "Episode Rippers" then in the box to the right of that put in the correct ripper and click "Proceed". The same applies for episode type, but that's in the drop down boxes below.

Remember you need to put DVD files down as DVD in the type drop down.

Episode Numbers...if you have a two ep file such as (01-02) 01 goes in "Episode Number" and 02 goes in "End Episode Number" Part numbers are for episodes with multiple files (cd2, pt2, pt1, etc)

If the files are valid and have 5 full sources then you can check their box on the edit page and then select "Edit and verify selected" in the drop down at the top of the page and then hit "Submit". Only fully verify them if you're 100% sure that it's all correct. If not, just edit and ask someone to check over them on the staff section of the forum.

Please check the release is correct by viewing it by clicking "Go back to season overview". Make sure the order is right, currently some older releases can end up going wrong due to the triple digit system. If the order is messed up click to edit "Verified Eps" and click the "All" button. Then just select "Edit selected" from the drop down and then hit "Submit".

If any files don't meet the criteria select their checkboxes and select "Delete Selected" from the drop down box instead and click "Submit".

Accuracy is key, we don't need people writing 300 forum posts saying that <x>, <x> and <x> is wrong!

Remember we're just here for TV so the only files that should be accepted are video files (avi, DivX, XviD, mpg, rm, mov, wmv, asf, VOB (generally the IFOs of DVD-R releases should be in a separate zip), subpacks (preferably the whole season in an archive, but single srts/subs are fine), other audio tracks (mp3/ac3/ogg), etc). We do NOT want nfo, sfv, or SOUNDTRACKS. You will delete these without a second thought.

Dates In Episode Titles
When the need arises for dates to appear in episode titles, they should be in one of the foll formats:

When episodes are numbered (and date is used as extra info only):
Feb 02, 2008
Mar 03, 2005
Dec 16, 1965

When episodes are not numbered and the air date serves as numbering:
2008-01-13
2008-01-20
2008-01-27

No Name Episodes
We can now make it so episodes have no name. Instead of using "Episode ##" as episode name, we just insert a dot (.) where the episode name should be, and it will come out like this:
Show - 1x01.avi

Auto Number Episodes
Be advised the usability of this option is very limited. By this I mean that it will number the selected episodes in the order they appear in editepisodes.php

1. First you choose the beginning number that you wish to start numbering from
2. Then you select (check box) the episodes you wish to number (remember they must already be in order....they don't have to be immediately after one another....just in ascending order.

The main use for this is seasons and submissions submitted in order but missing numbers as well as seasons that contain numbers in the title field and need to be renumbered in the proper fields.

Blacklist
Pretty straight forward....if someone submits or reports a bad link copy it and go into the Blacklist CP (4th Option In The Mod CP Menu) paste the copied link to the link section and add the reason in the episode comment field. You can also use the Blacklist CP to look up other blacklisted links.

Reasons can include: porn, wrong file, shitty copy of an existing file.

Or in Edit Episodes check the the box beside the offending episode(s) and be sure to enter a reason in the comment field of the episode itself and then from the edit drop down select "Blacklist Selected".

We blacklist things so people don't submit them again.

Replaced By Higher Quality
This option inserts replaced episode hashes into a different table to prevent resubmits of low quality/replaced episodes.

As for when to use:
1. TV, DSR, low def webrips, PDTV, DVB seasons that have been REPLACED by COMPLETE DVDRip or HDTV seasons.
2. HDTV or DVDRip seasons can ONLY be replaced when COMPLETE BDRip or BLURAY seasons of similar size and resolution are submitted/verified.
3. Used for when there are PROPERS, REPACKS and variations replacing a previous version.
4. LD.HDTV/LD.DVDRip can be replaced by REAL HDTV and DVDRip, when certain that it's not LD, since the audio will be better.

Also:
Please do not accept PDTV submissions when a HDTV equivilant is already posted on new episodes. Once upon a time there was a need to have PDTV as well as HDTV, but that need no longer exists.

There's a few reason for the policy:
1. It helps to keep sources for files focused rather then a few for each.
2. Quality over quantity.
3. It helps thin the DB into lean sexiness.

We had to draw a clear line and we did it at PDTV video quality. If you have doubts whether or not something should be marked as replaced come to me(sL), DarkPariah, or ALEX and we'll figure it out together.

Denials & Mainpage PMs
Now in the verifying options dropdown you will find "Deny - Lacking Sources"

When episodes are selected and you choose this option the links will be deleted and the user will be PMed with a denial message automatically. The PM that they receive will be from YOU so you may get replies.

Other types of denials are still manual for the time being. To deny a submission for other reasons go to Write PM and enter the persons name and a message telling them what and why. You can also use this system to inform users of submission errors. Or you can click a users name within the Edit Episodes page to automatically select the user you wish to pm.

Before denying links you should leave the links in question in an active eD2K client for 12 hours to determine the lack of sources. If it is a repeat offender you can deny immediately. Please be aware that some users are allowed to be paged early. List Of Users Allowed To Be Paged Early.

Be aware that only vip or better send out messages.

Even if a user is a complete retard I don't want to find out that this system has been used to harass a user (no matter how bad they deserve it). If someone is found to be abusing the system be it user conflict, spamming etc......strong actions will be taken.

Editing File Extensions
All extensions should be 100% lowercase
All .divx and .xvid become avi
All .mpeg become mpg

NOTE
We do not need or want the . in extension field. Only avi, mpg, mkv etc etc.

Moving Episodes & Seasons
First thing is obvious....figure out where the season(s) or episode(s) are supposed to go.

Seasons:
Go into Edit Season and either select the show from the drop down at the bottom of the page (Hint: you can start typing the name of the show in the drop down and it will jump to that show) or create a new show in the off chance for some reason you have to you can create a new show with the form found on the bottom of the the Edit Season options. Be sure to set Category and IMDb ID#.

When creating new shows be advised that the show will NOT automatically be verified and therefor must be verified by YOU.

Episodes:
Go into Edit Episodes and select the checkboxes beside the episodes you want to move. Next go to the edit drop down and sect move episodes and click the Submit button. This will lead you to the show selection....and just like moving seasons either select a show from the drop down or fill out the form (completely) to create a new show. After the show is selected or your new show form is complete click "next (Select Season)" button. Doing this leads you to the Season Selection phase of the moving process. During this phase either select the season you want to move to via the drop down or create a new season using the form at the bottom of the selections. As always it all comes down to details.....try your best to fill in as much of the form as possible....use the [status] links to identify the codec of season etc etc.

When creating new shows and seasons be advised that the show/season will NOT automatically be verified and therefor must be verified by YOU.

Public File Comments
As you will notice each file has a spot where we can add public comments like "Out Of Sync' "Missing Intro" reason for PROPERs and REPACKs etc etc. Use them logically and don't go crazy.

DO NOT USE COMMENTS TO INDICATE LACK OF SOURCES........THIS COMMENT FIELD HAS BEEN ADAPTED INTO CONVEYING PUBLIC INFO ONLY.

Verifying Seasons
First make sure episodes are within the season that qualify for verification.
If you verify eps within a new season that season DOES NOT automatically verify.....you must go back and verify that season.
Also be sure to try to find the specific avi codec (XviD, DivX, or H264). Status link can be helpful there, most of the times.
And don't forget to mark subtitles to the new 2.0 format (side flags). Also if you have a decent collection and you know the file specs like resolution etc take the time to fill in some missing data.

Second episode type
We have now added a second episode type in every season.
Just remember these few things when verifying/editing seasons:
- Do NOT insert any season type if one or more of the eps have NO type.
- Do NOT insert any season type if the season's ep types are more than two.
- Insert up to 2 season types ONLY when ALL eps whithin the season have these 2 types.

Dialect Indicator
In this text field you will either enter or see the specific dialect. This is only for certain dialects that are VERY different from the traditional language....or languages like Chinese or Spanish where there are several dialects that vary.

We don't want dialects for English seasons.

Examples of proper dialect names would be; Cantonese, Mandrin, Québec, Mexican, and whatever other language dialects get used for TVU style media.

Checking and changing Season Status
Every time you finish editing a season you must check to see if that current season is still running or not (still running only applies to US or UK shows or if you know first hand the status of the show - if it's foreign it's only ever marked as incomplete). To do this check TV.com, epguides.com, EPisodeWorld, TVRage or the show's official homepage to see if any more shows are scheduled.

If more are scheduled then go to the release page and click the "Still Running" link to mark it as still running. If the last scheduled episode has been added, but another episode is still missing click the "Still incomplete" link to mark it as "Incomplete". If there are more episodes coming for a season but it is on hold for a few months then mark the season to "On Hiatus". However if all the episodes for the season are listed and verified then you may click the "Complete" link to mark the release as completed.

Episode Guides For Seasons
Episode guides can be used from a variety sources; EPisodeWorld, Epguides, TVIV, Wikipedia, official sites, fan sites, etc etc etc. However using sing episode guides from IMDb is discouraged due to their general poor quality. There will be times when no other guide is available besides IMDb, then and only then should you use IMDb as an episode guide.

The easiest way to find an episode guide for a hard-to-find is to Google an episode title. In quotes. Usually a few tries in variation, different titles will come up with a guide.

Adding DVD-R Seasons
DVD-R's are added by one of the following schemes (Episode Title Field)
1. *.vob Files

S[AA] DVD [C] VTS_.....
AA = 2 numbers for the season
C = number for the disc

Examples:
S04 DVD 1 Rest
S04 DVD 1 VTS_01_1
S04 DVD 1 VTS_01_2

Leave Episode Number, Part Number Fields Empty.
Episode Type Is DVD-R.
Season Source is DVD.
Season Format is PAL or NTSC. If unknown, then DVD.
Season Type is DVD-R.

Example Season: http://tvu.org.ru/in...sodes&sid=10538

Filenames should result in something like:
Alias - S04 DVD 1 VTS_01_1.vob

2. *.iso Files
S[AA] DVD [C]
AA = 2 numbers for the season
C = number for the disc

Examples:
S01 DVD 2
S01 DVD 3
S01 DVD 4

Leave Episode Number, Part Number Fields Empty.
Episode Type Is DVD-R.
Season Source is DVD.
Season Format is PAL or NTSC. If unknown, then DVD.
Season Type is DVD-R.

Filenames should result in something like:
Alias - S01 DVD 1.iso

3. *.rar Volume Archives
S[AA] DVD [C]
AA = 2 numbers for the season
C = number for the disc

Examples:
S01 DVD 2
S01 DVD 3
S01 DVD 4

Enter the Volume number into the Part Number Fields

Leave Episode Number Empty.
Episode Type Is DVD-R.
Season Source is DVD.
Season Format is PAL or NTSC. If unknown, then DVD.
Season Type is DVD-R.

Example Season: http://tvu.org.ru/in...sodes&sid=15391

Filenames should result in something like:
Alias - S01 DVD 1 (Part 1).rar

Verifying shows
First make sure episodes are within the show that qualify verification.

If the show was NEW (i.e. the "Verify" link was visible on the "Unverified Shows" page) make sure the show name is correct (remember shows like "The 4400" should say "4400, The" and "The Show (US)" should be "Show (US), The"). If the show name is incorrect then click the "Edit" link In Unverified Show Page and #-Z or the "Edit Show" link in the show listing itself and change it to the appropriate title.

Show Foreign Name is named the same way ("Foreign Name, The") but Season Name remains "The Season Name" (the article does not go in the end).

Also be sure to edit in category (Live Action=real people) and IMDb id (id is the number in an imdb url after "tt" and before the "/")

If you verify a NEW show it is mandatory that you add genres......we didn't add genres to thousands of shows so you verifiers can fill up the no genre list.

So add genres to shows without them.....ALWAYS.

Verifying Genres
First go to the "Unveri Descripts/Genres" link in the staff menu. Next pick a show that needs genres verified. Once inside the show if all genres are correct then choose verify all. BE SURE TO CHECK and don't just auto verify all. If some are wrong go into Edit and check the ones that should be deleted and click edit.

There is currently no limit to the number of genres that a show can have....but PLEASE stay reasonable.

Alternative Show Pics
This is for valid direct urls to alternative show pictures. Accept ONLY pictures hosted by online image host http://pic.leech.it/index.php... we don't need some pissy admin changing pictures to a goatse or something. :P Also stay reasonable with the size of pictures that you allow. If it's a good picture but hosted by some other site that doesn't host pictures for usage the take the 5 minutes to save the picture and upload it to one of the two allowed hosts.

If all is in order you can now click the "Verify" link on "Unverified Shows" or check the Verified box within the show edit. so the show will be visible on the mainpage.

Show Descriptions
In the Admin CP on the main page click "Unverified Descriptions" and you'll see a list of all the shows with descriptions that need verifying.

Click the show title and a page will appear with the text the submitter entered. Check this is right via TV.com, epguides.com, EPisodeWorld, TVRage or the show's official homepage and if it is click the "Verify Description" button. If it is badly wrong or indeed just a load of crap feel free to edit or delete it.

English descriptions are preferred unless no foreign dub/sub versions have ever released. If their are multiple dubs or subbed versions that means it needs and English description. Eventually we will have multiple language descriptions that will display based on a user's mainpage language selection.

Wikipedia is usually the best place to get detailed descriptions from. If you are having problems finding information on a show try using different language versions of Wikipedia. Some things will only have pages in certain languages.

Description Markup
This feature allows us to add a few basic BB Code markups to show descriptions.

[b]Bold[/b]
[i]Italic[/i]
[color=#FF8C00]Color[/color]
[size=12]Default size is 12[/size]
[u]Underline[/u]
[url=http://tvu.org.ru]Link Name[/url]
Bold
Italic
Color
Default size is 12
Underline
Link Name

An example of use:
http://tvu.org.ru/in...isting&sid=3485

This is to pretty up descriptions....so don't go crazy and add excessive markup.

Show Groupings
Remakes, spin-offs and related shows (within reason) can now be grouped together under one #-Z listing.

Each show withing the the groupings is still it's own show.
Shows like Doctor Who should be combined...into a Grouping.....with related documentary split into it's own show (within the grouping).
Certain anime can be moved into a grouping and seasons moved into new "Shows" in order to be more accurate. In this case be sure to rename the seasons to remove redundancies in link out names.

An Example in Use:
http://tvu.org.ru/in...isting&sid=3443

To create a Show Grouping click "Add Show Grouping" in the Admin CP on the main page.

To reorder the shows within a Grouping:
On grouped shows you will find a field in Edit Show that allows you to enter a numeric value (1,2,3,4,5 etc etc etc). 1 is the first listed.
When reordering the shows, go by year (starting with the oldest one), unless the grouping is about characters/persons, where you order them alphabetically.

To add new shows to Grouping:
Go into Grouping and click the edit below the name... use drop down to add shows.
Or:
In Edit Show you can use the drop drown to add to existing Groupings.
Or:
Create New Show and add to Grouping from within Edit Season using the drop downs and fields at the bottom of the page below move.

When creating new listings it is mandatory that after you make the actual Grouping, you must enter a brief overall description that relates to all Grouped Shows within the Grouping....as well as use an Alternative Pic method for a Grouping picture (no larger then 250x250 please).....yes, you can use the best (same) pic from within the grouped shows.

Also, as always, when creating new shows please enter all info like descriptions, pics, IMDb ID number and category. After all this is to pretty things up and get more accurate with our info and listings.

Error Reports
As staff is is also your responsibility to fix errors within our listings. Thanks to our newest error reporting system the process has become easier then ever.

To see reported errors go to Report CP (the 3rd selection in the Mod CP). They are rather straight forward but be aware people WILL and DO submit stupid reports. So double check the information they are reporting before you fix any errors, and delete the reports you're done with.

And don't replace good descriptions with shitty ones ;)

Filter Links
This staff only tool (currently) is used to remove links already in the DB from a list of links. This only removes the links that are double that you pasted into it....the DB remains unchanged regardless. This is useful for identifying rogue and misnamed episodes. This can be found as the 8th option in the Mod CP part of the menu under the name Filter Links.

User CP & VIPs
The User CP is where you view information about users and edit some of it (user name, email and password). It's also where you set VIP status for users. You can only set status for users that are lower ranked than yourself.
What VIPs Get. VIP List.

-VIP status should only be assigned to active users that submit well and don't make mistakes in submissions.
-Users that are active on the forum are preferred but heavy submitters can be VIP'd if they don't make mistakes.

Don't go crazy. But adding a few each is encouraged.

The "5 Full Sources" Rule
When you have doubts about verifying links, use this diagram as your guide.
As you can see, it's pretty self explanatory... it shows which links can be verified and which ones should be denied.

Posted Image

Remember: No Exceptions.

General Tips
Always assume the submitter is misinformed or lazy... meaning ALWAYS check the tags and names!

If you are having problems finding information on a show try using different language versions of Wikipedia. Some things will only have pages in certain languages.

Don't forget to verify new seasons and to select the correct season status. It is "Complete" by default, so it usually needs adjustment.

Always make any necessary edits in seasons when adding/deleting/changing something in that season. For example, if the episode you've just verified is the one that completes the season, remember to mark the season as complete. If you verify an episode with a different ep type, format, or codec than the rest, remember to edit the season accordingly.

When you purge a show or move something to another show which empties the old show, make sure you check there was no unverified description for it and delete that, if there was one.

If you change the wording of season names, make the rest of the seasons within that show match.

When numbering mini series, use episode numbers instead of part numbers. If they are tagged with part numbers, move them to the episode number field.

Make sure episode names are "OS compliant" i.e. they do not contain erroneous characters such as colon ( : ), quotation marks (‘ ’, “ ”), guillemet (« »), slash and back slash (/ \), break ( | ), asterisk (*), question mark (?), caret (^) or brackets ([ ], { }, < >).
Replace these invalid characters by using dash (-), comma (,) or apostrophe (').

Major data changes should be discussed before being done. For example if you want to renumber 8 seasons, start splitting shows, combining shows, etc, please ask ALEX or sL before proceeding, ESPECIALLY IF THERE ARE CONFLICTING SOURCES OF INFORMATION.

Consistency
...
when coming across things such as old part numbers etc, take the five seconds to edit them to 3.0.1 standards.

Anime Guide

Naming
-Anime should always be named to the original Romanji (English Letters) titles. When in doubt name the same as AniDB Main Title.

IMDb #
-When searching IMDb for anime IMDb #, double vowels are typed with ^ on IMDB (i.e. uu = û)
-Also search for the alternative names or English name (if any) if you are having trouble locating an IMDb page.

AniDB #
-Find this number (located in the URL from the AniDB show page) and insert it. Currently it has no effect but eventually it will work much like the IMDb mod, by retrieving info from AniDB. EXAMPLE

Alternative Image URL
-AniDB is usually the best place to find these. Resize to no larger than 250x250, upload to pic.leech.it and use the resulting link.

Genres
-Be sure to get genres from IMDb, AniDB as well as other anime info sites for greater accuracy. IMDb genres are lacking when it comes to anime, and AniDB is overdoing it. Apply every TVU genre that applies.

Descriptions
-For anime descriptions Wikipedia is usually the best place to leech from. When using a description from Wikipedia, please remember to remove any markings for citations (numbers in brackets like [1], [2], etc) and the questionmark (?) in the anime title written in Japanese.
-Another good source of information and descriptions is animeNFO

Groupings
-Certain anime can be moved into a grouping and seasons moved into new "Shows" in order to be more accurate. In this case be sure to rename the seasons to remove redundancies in Season Names. EXAMPLE 1 EXAMPLE 2

Seasons
-Hide season # for most anime seasons (i.e. if there is a season 2 it will most likely have a name, e.g. HERE. Only occasionally will it be necessary to show season numbers on anime.

Episodes
-Japanese dubs must never be tagged as DVB EPISODE TYPE (but source is fine) - DVB is allowed (but discouraged) for Episode Type on other dubs.
-AniDB uses DTV as an Episode Type. We at TVU do not recognize DTV as a valid episode type. So the episode type on DTV will be HDTV (depending on resolution SEE Episode Type Guide) or blank.
-Finding resolution and file stats can be easily found on AniDB if you have a registered account. AniDB however is not very accurate on their episode types, so don’t rely on those, just the actual file stats. (Can be found by clicking into the actual file page.)
-Be sure to replace characters such as ` with ' (because AniDB uses ` instead of ' this character difference is more common in anime links).

Getting File Information From AniDB
-First, locate a show. Then, Click the + button by a Group name to expand all episodes by that group. Or click the + button by an episode number to expanded all files within that episode. To get more specific details click the "Show File Details" icon to the left of group names.

Notes:
- v2 = REPACK (there may be a v3 or v4 in rare cases)
- you can also mouse-over the small icons (as shown on the picture below) to get the container format, as well as the video codec (audio and sub format though are only available in the "show file details").

Group Specific Rules
-HorribleSubs = WEBRip ALWAYS
-If you are in doubt go to the official website of the group. AniDB will have this info in the specific group pages. The Official websites of the sub groups are available by clicking the group name in AniDB:

Stand-Up Comedy

1. Seasons will be named: Stand-Up Specials, HBO Specials, Live or Others.
2. ALL season numbers will be hidden.
3. "Others" seasons will be the only seasons with the season number as 0.
4. "Stand-Up Specials", "HBO Specials", and "Live" seasons will be numbered as 1.
5. IMDb # should be from the comedians FIRST stand-up special.
6. Descriptions should be pulled from wiki or other such Bio-Pages and if possible include some career and comedic style info. Also include birth date and death date if applicable. See current Comedian descriptions for a general idea of standard.
7. Pics should be Alt Pics and if possible always use a Promo Pic of the comedians face rather then a DVD cover or screen shot.

Message From sLAUGHTER
Since 2.0 went into place there are many shows and seasons that need to be brought up to date. I am referring to to subtitles, IMDb #s, and category. So when doing a show and you notice seasons are in old format or IMDb # and category are missing......please take the time and use the "status" links to identified sub or dual audio and IMDb to fill in id and category.

With everyone doing a bit here and there we'll be done in no time.

Description markup edited.

Reason:
Color markup for descriptions does not require " " around hex color code.

Replaced by higher quality to read as such:

1. It helps to keep sources for files focused rather than a few for each.
2. Quality over quantity.
3. It helps thin the DB into lean sexiness.

We had to draw a clear line and we did it at PDTV video quality. If you have doubts whether or not something should be marked as replaced come to me(sL), DarkPariah, or ALEX and we'll figure it out together.

Here's some reference to add up there, where you see fit, update and delete my post if appropriate:

"Foreign" tags equivalent for TVU types:

Spanish:

HDTV+DVB = LD.HDTV -- most Spanish dubs these days are LD

Italian:

DVB-HD = HDTV -- used by FFT
DVB-HQ = LD.WEBRip -- used by NovaRip

French:

TRUEFRENCH = (none) -- this is used for France French (as opposed to tag FRENCH used for Quebec French) when there are multiple dub versions made of the same movie. Usually TV series are dubbed in France, and cartoons are dubbed in Quebec, so this tag is seen more often on cartoons. Use dialect France and Québec if the two versions are available on TVU, e.g. Star Wars - Clone Wars movie

FASTSUBS = (none) -- this is used to indicate "low quality" subtitles were used for sub.FR episodes. It was agreed TVU was not to judge quality of subs, hence no comment or tags are necessary for these files.

PROPER = (to be validated) -- very often this tag is used by a team to indicate "better quality subtitles" than previous releases by other teams (the word also being close to "propre" which means "clean"); treat this tag on a case-by-case, since PROPER subtitles are technically "impossible" on hardsub files.

German:

German.dubbed = LD

DL = (dual-audio) -- do not confuse with DL = download ~ WEBRip

IMHO, those tags should best be added in Glossary Of Video & Piracy Terms or Episode Types As Used By TVU.

BTW, "DL" is already in the Glossary: http://tvunderground...dpost__p__14903

.....

This is incorrect (sorry because it was created by me this mistake).
I have contact ripper FFT through ripper moll (known in TVU with nickname Pompelmo), FFT use this TAG for yours file:

DVB> Rip from Sat or DVB in analog (Decoder> Scart Cable> Recorder) = ??? (TvRip or DVB?)

DVB-HD> Rip from HDTV Sat channel in analog (Decoder > Scart Cable> Recorder) = ??? (Tvrip, DVB or HDTV?)

Sat-HQ or Sat > Rip from Sat or DVB in Digital (Decoder > Recorder) = DVB
