First Letter Capitalization of Titles (Discluding Prepositions)

Posted by SpewHole on 07 October 2011 - 06:59 PM

When I submit episodes in English, I label and capitalize them accurately.

But when the title is then cataloged on the site, it has been altered by someone so that the first letter of every word is capitalized.  That is grammatically inaccurate.  For instance, an episode entitled "Aliens and Evil Places" was renamed to "Aliens And Evil Places."  It is not proper in English grammar to capitalize prepositions within a title, unless it is the first word of the sentence/statement.  The same is true for show titles such as "In The Flow With Affion Crockett," which should be "In the Flow with Affion Crockett."

At this point, it's obviously too late to correct every single show title and every single episode title for every cataloged download on the site.  But since case-sensitivity is not a huge issue when running a search, perhaps steps could be taken to ensure grammatical accuracy going forward.  I know it's not a huge priority, but seeing all those grammatical errors day-in and day-out deflects from the elite quality of your site.  It looks at those your site suffers from a language barrier.
